Directions to our Eastbourne clinic
We welcome visitors at the clinic, but we do ask that you arrange a time for your visit, in advance of turning up. Sessions with patients run all day long, and unscheduled visitors can disrupt these private times. If you’d like to come and meet us, please contact us first.
location
The address of the Eastbourne clinic is 15 Addingham Road, Eastbourne BN22 7DX UK (telephone 07906 800079). The house is a white-rendered semi-detached building, and can be found approximately three-quarters of the way down Addingham Road on the left-hand side (heading away from the seafront), almost opposite a row of modern terraced houses.
View our location on Google maps.
by car
The RAC and AA have routefinder services online, or you can visit www.mapquest.co.uk and click on Driving directions, entering your own postcode and the clinic’s postcode, BN22 7DX. There is free on-street parking in Addingham Road and in the surrounding streets.
by bus
Frequent buses serve nearby Seaside Road, including the numbers 1, 1A and 1C (from stop C, in the town centre’s Terminus Road, towards the direction of Shinewater) at approximately 10 minute intervals from Monday to Saturday. Buses run less frequently in the evenings and on Sundays.
walking
From the train station, walk up Terminus Road in the direction of the seafront (approx 700m). Turn left onto the prom, and walk along the prom for approximately 1km, passing the pier on your right as you go. Turn left into Addingham Road immediately after the Redoubt Fortress and museum (if you’re walking on the prom) or after the disused military tank (if you’re walking on the street), opposite the start of the bowling green.
by train
Trains run regularly between London Victoria and Eastbourne via Gatwick. Journey time is approximately 1hr25min, depending on time of day and train selected. Do ensure that you travel in the correct part of the train, as the train sometimes divides at Haywards Heath. See www.nationalrail.co.uk.
Taxis are available outside the station, or see bus or walking information above.
by air
London Gatwick airport is just over 40 miles north of our clinic. If arriving by air, you can join a train from London to Eastbourne at the airport train station, and alight at Eastbourne station (see above). Alternatively, car rental facilities are available at the airport terminals.
bicycles
Bicycles may be chained to the front garden gate, but are left at your own risk. Please open the gate first, so that your bicycle does not cause an obstruction to anyone exiting the clinic.
accessibility
The clinic has wide doorways but there is a step up from the pavement. Unfortunately, the clinic’s wc facilities are not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us immediately if this affects your appointment, and we will make other arrangements to ensure that your consultation can go ahead.
information about the clinic
There is no waiting room/receptionist at the Eastbourne clinic, so please try to arrive as near to your appointment time as possible. If you arrive early for your appointment, your homeopath may well be with her previous patient: in this case, please ring the bell and wait.
Complimentary refreshments (filtered water or herb tea) are provided to clinic patients (time permitting). Please note that the clinic is generally closed for practitioners’ lunch between 13:00hrs and 14:00hrs every day.
children
If you are bringing a child patient with you, please make sure that you bring with you: something (un-messy and non-staining) for your child to eat and drink if he or she is likely to get hungry; one or two of their favourite, quiet toys (pens, felt tips and crayons are not permitted in the clinic); and their favourite comforter. Separate baby-changing facilities are not available, but we can provide a changing mat and hand-washing facilities if necessary.
